
     


Chuck
Baldwin is a principal and co-founder of The Baldwin & Clarke
Companies, a diversified financial services organization made up of five independent
companies.
Chuck is the principal architect of the
estate planning and investment advisory services offered by two of the Baldwin &
Clarke Companies. His expertise is utilized by Baldwin & Clarke Corporate Finance,
Inc. and its clients to assure that sound wealth transfer and financial
planning are
effectively integrated into the valuation, M&A's and divestiture
strategies developed by the firm.
Chuck's expertise in developing funding
strategies for executive benefit planning is available to clients who utilize Baldwin
& Clarke Corporate Finance to develop value creation-based executive compensation
systems.
After obtaining a BS (with
honors) from
Northeastern University, Chuck went on to earn an MBA from Amos Tuck School of Business in
1967. He has received CLU and ChFC designations from the American College. He has spent
the past 28 years developing The Baldwin & Clarke Companies.
Chuck is a frequent speaker before
international, national and regional audiences on such topics as estate, financial and
executive benefit planning, asset allocation and alternative investment strategies and the
use of life insurance as an effective estate and business planning vehicle.
Active in community affairs, Chuck served
as Chairman of the Board of the New Hampshire Retirement System (a gubernatorial
appointment) from August of 1983 to October 1996 and has continuously served on the Board
of Trustees of the Crotched Mountain Foundation (CMF) since 1981. He currently is the
Treasurer of CMF, chairs its Finance Committee, and serves on its Investment Committee and
the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Board of
Directors of the Manchester Country Club and is Chairman of its Finance Committee. |
