Perry was a Founder and Managing Director of Ulin, Morton, Bradley & Welling, one of New England's leading investment banking boutiques with a dozen professionals performing hundreds of mergers and acquisitions, financing and advisory assignments. He continued as Managing Director of Corporate Finance of Advest, Inc., a member of the New York Stock Exchange, upon Advest's acquisition of Ulin, Morton, Bradley & Welling in 1990. Perry was also the President of The Morton Company, a corporate financial consulting firm providing merger and acquisition advisory services, workout and turnaround management and financing assistance. As COO and CFO of Bay Financial Corporation, an NYSE listed company, Perry achieved a turnaround of major proportions while conceiving and negotiating debt restructuring and a recapitalization plan. At Debevoise & Plimpton in New York City, Perry engaged in a corporate financial legal practice principally involving corporate mergers, acquisitions, combinations and divestitures, private placement financing and public offerings of securities. Perry was a Trustee of American Fletcher Mortgage Investors (a publicly-owned real estate firm) and of The Devonshire Fund (a mutual fund employing asset allocation techniques). He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and is listed in various editions of "Who's Who". He is a registered securities principal of FINRA (www.finra.org). Active in alumni and charitable organizations, Perry is a graduate of the Law School of Harvard University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Michigan. |
